Overview
I have a BA (Honours) Business Studies Degree from the University of Liverpool. As part of my degree, I served a 12 month placement at Lindop Toyota as the IT Manager. I obtained a result of 100% for my placement and as a consequence received the City and Guilds of London Licentiateship Award.
For the duration of my studies I also worked for Diageo (the world’s largest alcoholic beverage producer) on a part time basis, often on 12 hour night or week end shifts. In spite of these employment commitments, I have maintained a 2-1 degree result, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility, good time management skills and a focussed commitment to succeed.
Since completing my degree in June 2006 I started working as a Technical Consultant on a graduate program for 2e2. Part of my program was to complete the MCSE track, which I completed in February 2008 (13 months ahead of schedule). My elective module for my MCSE was SharePoint 2007 and as a result I have achieved the MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) Qualification. I am now a key member of staff focusing on SharePoint 2007 for 2e2 and some of my tasks include creating marketing collateral and working closely with sales staff to drive SharePoint sales, attending client sites for both pre-sales and delivery consulting, SharePoint demonstrations and documentation for all stages.
I have participated in numerous client facing seminars for 2e2 and directly for Microsoft, most recently I have delivered a seminar on behalf of Microsoft for which I was the technical SharePoint lead, below is the feedback from Microsoft:
