“I am a retired primary teacher, turned amateur artist. I have tried different mediums and techniques, but these days I prefer to work with textiles. I like to paint onto cotton fabric, and then add appliqué and machine embroidery. My subjects have changed from landscapes and seascapes to more current issues, pollution, the plight of refugees, or single use plastic. I belong to Phoenix Textile Artists, and am a member of the Embroiderers Guild.”
