Robert Parkinson “After 20+ years of working for ‘the man’, I realised that I had wasted a lot of time, doing things I didn’t want to do. So, I decided to rekindle my interest in producing pieces of artwork for my own pleasure, which I hadn’t done for several years. I started painting again, but ran out of space, so moved on to producing work digitally, and selling it on-line. However, what I really wanted to do was ‘get my hands dirty’, so moved on to renting myself some studio space, where I have been for just over 3 years. I mostly work with 3 different media – spray and stencil, wax , and traditional painting with acrylics, brush, and finger.”
