Aimee is a Ribble Valley based dance artist, performer, puppeteer and theatre maker. She creates work for outdoor spaces drawing inspiration from folklore, nature and local heritage. Her work focuses on blending traditional styles of folkdance with modern dance styles and works to bring high quality dance theatre shared with the warmth of folk storytelling to family audiences.

She has created and performed work with companies such as Folkdance Remixed, Wild Rumpus, BalletFolk, Handmade Theatre, A Bird in the Hand Theatre, LPM Dance and Ballet Cymru. Aimee has also created community art projects with companies such as The National Trust and Touchstones Museum, Rochdale.

Aimee has collaborated with RV Arts to create an online workshop Get The Knack of Clogging, with the link below. This easy workshop, that you can do in your own home, will go through the basic steps that make up Lancashire clogging, share a little about its origins and history and learn a simple routine.
