I’m Karin Pinder, an Australian artist based in Slaidburn.  I create artwork inspired by the countryside.  I specialise in farming scenes and scenes showcasing the wildness of the landscape of Northern England.  My artwork is comprised of soft pastel drawings, lino prints, oil paintings and digital artwork.  I particularly love accentuating the colours I see and portraying that in my artworks.  As well as my website, my artwork is available to purchase from Slaidburn Central Stores and Post Office as greeting cards and fine art prints.

I currently run Bowland Arts Group, with art sessions held on Wednesday evenings (term time only) at Slaidburn Village Hall.  I am also a proud member of Create Hodder, an initiative that showcases, educates and supports artists, creators and makers from the Hodder Valley.
