Nicky paints from her studio in the picturesque village of Hurst Green in the Ribble Valley. She can often be seen out and about sketching, with her companion Max the dog by her side.
Although her work is contemporary in style, traditional subject matter such as hares, foxes and livestock continue to be at the heart of her paintings. She works in a variety of mediums and with a playful use of line and colour produces delightful artworks full of character and charm.
Nicky has exhibited far and wide and her artwork has won many awards. Her work is regularly selected for inclusion in the Annual Pastel Society Exhibition at the prestigious Mall Galleries, London. It has also been featured in several publications including the Pastel Journel, a highly respected US publication devoted entirely to the medium of pastel.
