I’m a Japanese textile artist, specialising in Origami, the art of paper folding.

Folding paper is fascinating, papers are very simple two dimensional forms and through the simple action of folding they can be transformed into intricate three dimensional shapes either by using one sheet to create a single object or combining many smaller sheets together to create an intricate larger piece.

I also enjoy experimenting to combine Japanese traditional craft technique and modern skill to create my original piece. Recently I succeeded to create “Silk paper Kimono”.

I love challenging and I’ll never stop doing it. My workshops are available for all ages at the weekends. £25/hour + material cost, please feel free to contact me for the workshop details via email.”
