Clare Bigger’s beautiful bespoke sculptures of animals, birds and figures are a celebration of life and the spontaneity of movement. Clare Bigger has been working as a sculptor for 25 years and exhibits both in the UK and abroad.
Her sculptures have been commissioned by private collectors, corporate clients and councils alike to suit anything from a mantelpiece to a monumental 10 metre high gateway to a town or city. Her distinctive stainless steel forms have featured in several RHS Chelsea award winning show gardens and notable collections such as the Jerwood Foundation. Clare has always nurtured a keen interest in both sport and nature and these combine to make these energetic flowing sculptures.
Clare is based at Trapp Forge in the beautiful countryside of the Ribble Valley in Lancashire. Clare has her studio and gallery in the grounds and has been based here for the last 25 years designing and creating sculptures from 10cm to 10m high, for both private and corporate commissions.
In 2019 Clare opened her own Gallery adjoining her studio where she holds open days and exhibitions. There is also a collection of sculptures available to purchase at the gallery with prices starting from £850.
If you would like to visit the Gallery this can be done by appointment.
