Hello, I’m Sam and I’m a freelance illustrator & surface pattern designer living in the lovely Ribble Valley in the UK with my husband and son.
After studing Fine Art at University I spent twenty years working as an in-house designer at a greeting card company. Now I’m really happy to be freelancing.
I’m inspired by everyday life, walking the dog, nature, watching the changes in the seasons.
In September 2020 I won first prize in the Templar Design & Illustration Awards in the Picture Book Catergory.
I’ve designed cards and other paper products for many UK and international companies
My artwork is mostly digital, created in Illustrator, Procreate and Photoshop.
