Working under the name of Grin Pins, Emma is a mixed media art maker. Based in Grindleton, she works in a variety of formats from jewellery, through costume to sculpture and installation. From her studio in Higherford Mill her art responds to changing life stages, surroundings and emotions, playing with a variety of materials and forms and the tactile qualities of surfaces.
Clay, cement, textile and natural fibres are all fair game and if you would like to learn or explore any of these ideas or techniques in a project get in touch.
Emma is an experienced workshop leader and her sensitive approach to collaboration and passion for learning through experience are key to her sessions.
