“I graduated from Liverpool Polytechnic in 1984 with a degree in Art and Illustration. I now work from studio 2 at Ribble Valley Art Studios. My work is usually in Oils on wood or canvas often experimenting with the dripping effects of turpentine and linseed oil. I am drawn to painting water and skies in particular, I often paint landscapes or seascapes and these are of local scenes or places I visit. I paint with a brush, a knife or fingers and from my own photos and sketches which I make at the scene and my work is often moody and of a slightly strange perspective.”
